Kerns Racing joined with Drybrough Performance Engines for the 2024 season 71 Super Stock dirt track stock car program from Powell River. Working with Tom and the Drybrough Performance team on our latest engine has been great and the results have shown. With the 355 small block Chevy machined, assembled and tuned it is the best engine I have ran in the car to date. We broke the Merritt Speedway super stock track record this year at 16.130 seconds and had several 1st place showings there. As well we toured the larger scale races in western Canada. We ran the Dirt Super Nationals at Rad Torque Speedway in Edmonton where we finished 2nd overall in the super stock class and then the Duel in the Dirt race at Fire & Flood Speedway in Rimbey, Alberta where we finished 1st overall in the Super Stock class for the second year in a row. Drybrough Performance Engines supports us with friendly and welcoming service but as well the highest quality machining, engine building, technical support, years of experience and knowledge.
